So last night I indulged in a girls' night out. Sex and the city 2 followed by cocktails. The movie was great, delivering laughs and lust-worthy fashion. And now I really want to go to Abu Dhabi! As for the cocktails, they were fashionably delicious. The standout drink of the night was definitely the Miranda (yes, named after the SATC character). It was a candy apple mix of green apple juice and Belvedere citrus, shaken with pressed limes and a dash of Campari, poured over candy floss in a martini glass. Sooo pretty, and seeing the candy floss dissolve into the liquid was candy for the eyes! It was sweet with a slight bitter finish. And no better way to finish the night with a Turkish Delight shot which tasted exactly like Cadbury turkish delight chocolate. Cocktails definitely make for a glamorous night out.
